Nehéz leirnom ezt a hangzást, mivel nem vagyok zenész, de azért hallás után nagy részt felismerem a zenéket. Ez a kelet-nyugat dolog régebbi időkben alakult ki. "Amerikában a keleti és a nyugati part muzsikusai között évtizedek óta tartott a rivalizálás. A keletiek ún. East Coast jazzt, a nyugati partiak West Coast jazzt játszottak. A negyvenes években a bebop hódított, melyet az ötvenes években a cool, a hűvös, intellektuálisabb zene követett." Nem én vagyok a legnagyobb szakértője a témának, hátha valaki ír még.
