Miképp a képregényfilmek esetében, úgy a Transformersnél is sok kvázi spoiler nem a filmeseknek köszönhetően kerül napvilágra, hanem az adott mozifilmhez kapcsolódó termékek miatt. Előfordult, hogy akciófigurák vagy számítógépes játékok lepleztek le valamit egy filmből, vagy lőttek el poénokat, most pedig, a Transformers negyedik része, az Age of Extinction esetében pár pohár és tízórais táska. A mellékelt képek a Comic Book Movie oldalán jelentek meg, s nem csak Optimusz Fővezér és Űrdongó új dizájnját fedezhetjük fel rajta, hanem Grimlockét is, aki a magyar keresztségben Mogorvaként szokott futni. Grimlock jelenléte egyébként végképp megerősíti azt a pletykát, amiről eddig sem a Paramount stúdió, sem Michael Bay, a rendező nem volt hajlandó beszélni, miszerint az Age of Extinctionben jelen lesznek a dinobotok.
