Ehhez hasonló a Blackfield is, amit többek között a Porcupine Tree énekes-gitárosa vezet, és a Porcupine Tree zenéjében is megtalálható, de ott inkább pszichedelikus elemek vannak. Itt egy másik nagy zenekar, a Pendragon, ők (persze itt csak ketten vannak, de egyébként 5-en ) neo prog rock-ot játszanak, amire jellemző, hogy nem hanyagolják a szomorkás hangulatokat és rengeteget használják a gitárt lágy szólózásra, de olyanokra, hogy besz@rsz Többnyire megtörtént eseteket zenésítenek meg, saját élet vagy környező történések bármi, ami megfogja a zenészt.
