Artist: Autechre Title: Chiastic Slide Year Of Release: 1997/2019 Label: Warp Records Genre: Electronic, Abstract, IDM, Downtempo, Experimental Quality: 320 kbps / FLAC (tracks) Total Time: 01:09:56 Total Size: 160.3 MB / 432,94 MB Tracklist: [08:57] 01. Autechre - Nuane AllMusic Review by John Bush After Tri Repetae++, the stunning leap forward with which Autechre astounded the techno world, the duo's fourth proper album came as a disappointment to many. The waves of polar static and mechanic clicks which distinguished Tri Repetae make Chiastic Slide little more than a variation on a form. Even worse, the album has too few ideas for its near 70-minute length, and the duo seem content with short loops being repeated and repeated over again for up to ten minutes on a single track. Though several songs are on a par with Tri Repetae -- and that's being generous -- Chiastic Slide just can't compare with Autechre's earlier work. Autechre - Notwo [7:15] 20. Autechre - Outh9X AllMusic Review by Andy Kellman "Unified" and "cohesive" would not be two of the first couple hundred words used to describe Quaristice, the first Autechre album since 2005's Untilted. The only aspect that prevents Quaristice from seeming open-ended, as a bunch of tracks splayed arbitrarily across a disc, is that it begins and ends with ambient (as in entirely beat-less) pieces; an arc might gradually become apparent, but that would only be the result of increased familiarity with the sequence of tracks. It's disparate, to say the very least, but that is not at the listener's expense. Just by glancing at the length of the track list, it's apparent the album is not standard-operating Autechre; at 73 minutes in length, most of the 20 tracks are more like vignettes, yet the ideas arrive fully formed, never appearing to be dashed off or loosely sketched. The variety of ideas is nearly imposing, the best of which include the deadened chiming and clanging of "Simmm," the stealth jitter of "Tankakern," the Drexciya-worthy pitch-black neo-electro of "Rale," and the handful of stunning and duly swarthy ambient tracks -- especially the closing 12 minutes shared by the chilling "Notwo" and "Outh9x" tandem. A couple moments, unsurprisingly, border on the inscrutable, with "Fol3" sounding like a collage of car collisions and slammed doors smeared and backmasked for nearly four minutes, and "bnc Cstl" more like a hyper-speed gag of sound effects, its high hats and snares tucked deeply into the mix. While it can take some time to get a handle on its generous stream of components, Quaristice is far from just another Autechre album. Not since LP5 has being impressed been so obviously secondary to enjoyment. Download links: [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]

Artist: Clare Teal Title: Orsino's Songs Year Of Release: 2002 Label: Candid Productions Genre: Vocal Jazz Quality: FLAC (tracks) Total Time: 50:11 Total Size: 334 Mb Tracklist: 01. Orsino's Songs is Clare's eagerly awaited second album on Candid Records - the content of which is even richer and exudes more warmth than ever. Again Clare is accompanied by her regular band made up of the UK's top mainstream musicians, Martin Litton on Piano; Trevor Whiting on Reeds; Nils Solberg on Guitar, John Day on Bass and Rod Brown on Drums. As well as three very special guests Alan Barnes, Ian Shaw + Malcolm Earl Smith. Martin Litton has excelled himself with the arrangements for this selection of well-known classics and originals. He, like Clare, knows how to reach into the very core of a song and his arrangements display a whole variety of styles and emotions. Clare puts the success of this harmonious and creative partnership down to the fact that both she and Martin share a birthday and are obviously linked by the 17th moon of Uranus! The twelve-track 'Ultimate Yokota 1991-2019' collection traverses through Yokota's emotive and playful house sounds, employing infectious synth hooks, analogue drums, soulful vocals and an underlying positive energy throughout. Here we take the initiative to shine a light on one of Japan's unsung heroes of House for those who may be unfamiliar with his impressive back catalogue, the compilation will be hitting shelves from the 21st October 2019. Shinichiro Yokota: "In the late 80s my obsession towards House music began and the biggest influence I had was through Soichi Terada. I went to his house almost every week, and watched him perform his magic with synthesizers, samplers, and sequencers. I soon learned how to use them as well and started producing a variety of tracks. Many of the tracks produced during this time were released on CD or vinyl through 'Far East Recording'. This project 'Ultimate Yokota' is a careful selection of tracks from the early 90's which haven't been released on vinyl ever. It is my 30 years chronicle. 'TOKYO 018' is a track Soichi and myself collaborated on for the first time in 15 years. Not all the tracks on this record is produced with Soichi but it's safe to say that all my tracks have been influenced by and 'created' together with him. Soichi Terada: ''Amongst the 90's Japanese house music that's been re-evaluated in recent years, many people are highly recognizing "Do It Again". One thing that comes to my mind which I contribute to this song's producer, Shinichiro Yokota, is the excitement and cheers of the audience when I perform it in my live show. With just 7 notes of refrain making the dance floor really pop up. Thanks to that I had the opportunity to do over 120 live shows in various European cities. Many people mistakenly think "Do It Again" is Soichi Terada's work because of the wrong credits on YouTube, but at least those of you who love this record will be reaffirming the beautiful sound that Shinichiro Yokota is creating. And Shinichiro Yokota, you "Did It Again"! That's what you are feeling.'' Download links: [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]

Artist: Autechre Title: Tri Repetae Year Of Release: 1995/2019 Label: Warp Records Genre: Abstract, IDM, Ambient Quality: 320 kbps / FLAC (tracks) Total Time: 01:12:34 Total Size: 82.8 MB / 426,61 MB Tracklist: [06:40] 01. Autechre - C/Pach [05:50] 08. Autechre - Gnit [07:33] 09. Autechre - Overand [10:08] 10. Autechre - Rsdio AllMusic Review by Ned Raggett Starting with the snarling, slow machine-funk of "Dael," Tri Repetae fully confirms Autechre's evolution into electronic noise kings. If not as immediately experimental as the fractured work by the likes of Merzbow, Tri Repetae expertly harnesses the need for a beat to perfectly balance out the resolutely fierce, crunching samples and busy arrangements, turning from being inspired by Aphex Twin to being equally inspiring in itself. "Rotar" does a particularly fine job on this front, with high-pitched sounds against low, distorted bass blasts -- and this only forms part of the percussion arrangement. The basic combination of soft melody and harsh beats are here as well, coming fully to the fore and resulting in such fine songs as the synth-string/organ wheeze laden "Leterel" and the quirky, sweet "Gnit." Nearly every track has a particular edge or element to it, making it eminently listenable and distinct. "Stud," for all of its macho connotations, actually takes a gentler path than most of the album's tunes, with a flowing synth wash at the center of a stripped-down but sharp digital-drum punch; by the end of the song, the synth loops float freely in an uneasy, ambient wave. With the drowsy pulse of "Overand" and the echoing beats of "Radio" (perhaps not so ironically, the most straightforward of the album's songs) to close things out, Tri Repetae stands as a varied, accomplished album, clear evidence of Autechre's unique genius around sound. American releases included a bonus disc compiling the Anvil Vapre and Garbage EPs. Download links: [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]

Artist: Battles Title: Mirrored Year Of Release: 2007/2019 Label: Warp Records Genre: Electronic, Rock, Math Rock, Experimental, Indie Rock Quality: 320 kbps / FLAC (tracks) Total Time: 00:51:57 Total Size: 349,04 MB Tracklist: [4:51] 01. Battles - Race : Out AllMusic Review by Thom Jurek It's official: in 2007, it's all come full circle. Prog rock has made its way into the indie scene. Battles' Mirrored, their debut full-length after three EPs, makes that plain. Messrs. John Stanier of Helmet and Tomahawk, guitarist/keyboardist Ian Williams of Don Caballero and Storm & Stress, guitarist David Konopka of Lynx, and avant solo musician Tyondai Braxton have constructed an album that combines the best of Van Der Graaf Generator, Magma, Krautrock, and math rock, while coming up with something that stands so far out on the fringe that it is in a league of its own. That so much of this music is created via the magic of software and combined with one- or two-note keyboard and guitar patterns makes it the Philip K. Dick equivalent of modern rock. The intro, "Race: In," comes flying out of the box with a series of rim shots and repetitive guitar lines before Braxton comes whistling into the front end. This is a Disney tune for Snow White by the Seven Dwarfs run amok. The abstract patterns introduced by the keyboards and bassline serve to underscore the melody, complex though it may be, and the sampling sound of hammers creates, at least momentarily, the image of "Whistle While You Work" before the guitars enter full bore and transform it into a full-blown prog jam with tight turns, momentary riffs all the while keeping a motorik drumbeat whether on a snare or a tom-tom. The whistling and wordless vocals that reflect another set of keyboard sounds add depth, humor, and warmth to this underground rainbow. On "Atlas," the title track from the band's last EP, the sound is one of futuristic dragon music à la the conceits of T. Rex without the clever lyrics. Here, the drum shuffle of so many great T. Rex tunes introduces a single guitar riff, warped by sonics and growled vocals that sound like a pig snorting. The intoxication of rhythm is inescapable, even as the David Seville Chipmunk-style vocals -- which could be backmasked -- create a progression for the tune to lift off from. It's tribal and slick, both at the same time. There is even a manipulated -- via the wonders of electronics -- "oo-ay-oo" from The Wizard of Oz scene where the evil Wicked Witch of the West henchmen sing as they march in guard formation around her dark palace. But this music is anything but dark. It's insistent, playful, and planned down to the distorted bass loop and pulsing guitar and keyboard notes that are layered on top in single- or double-note formations. Indeed, Mirrored is the place -- the very terrain -- where nerd science meets rock, and it's a gas. It's the amalgam of "merry melodies" that grabs the listener, even to the point of forgetting how many different arrays of percussion and electric string and keyboard instruments are being played on each and every tune. The sprint that is "Ddiamondd" could be in Christian Vander's Zeuhl dialect, with some of nastiest keyboard bass since the Beastie Boys' "Party's Gettin' Rough." One can hear strains of Gentle Giant in the way vocal harmonies are carefully layered to provide a counterpoint to the knotty riffs being executed. "Tonto" is an exception, where Asian, early American folk melody, and contrapuntal interplay create a long journey into some instrumental netherworld where rhythm and sound don't so much come to a conclusion as collide in variations of tempo and modal changes. "Rainbow" is the albums's longest and most chaotic track, yet it's utterly infectious listening as guitars roar and whoosh through the top of the mix. Rhythmic invention undercuts them and directs the shifts in tempo and even key. In contrast, "Bad Trails," with its synth loop providing a hypnotic inroad into Braxton's singing and shifting strands of guitar, bass, and synth lines, is a bona fide song. "Race: Out," the album's final cut, begins largely as an electronically manipulated exercise is backward tape manipulation; but this is all digital, folks, until the drums enter full bore announcing in short rolls on the toms that something else is about to occur -- and it does. Everything shifts into forward motion again on a dime and the instruments engage each other in a labyrinthine dance of cheap keyboard themes and tight, knotty guitar inventions. Pattern after pattern is introduced, played until it becomes rote, and then shifts itself, by only a couple of notes, into something entirely different as sounds, soundscapes, and instruments engage one another in call-and-response until a fade into silence. Mirrored is unlike any recording out there at the moment. It's loud, funny, and astonishingly sophisticated, and doesn't feel pretentious in the least. Never has the wall of electronic futurism sounded so organic or musical. The album's many influences offer only guide posts, as Battles have their own unique image of a sound universe that one can play in as well as be awed by. Artist: Carl Schuricht Title: J. Strauss II: Waltzes and Polkas Year Of Release: 1963 [2015] Label: Tower Records [TWSA-1004] Genre: Classical Quality: DSD64 image (*.iso) | FLAC (24bit/88,2 kHz) Total Time: 00:49:20 Total Size: 1,4 GB / 870 mb (+3%rec.) A long-awaited SACD with a magnificent and joyful performance by the famous combination of Schuricht and the Vienna State Opera Orchestra! A hybrid SACD of a performance that Schuricht left on a concert hall label. With SACD, you can enjoy high-quality sound very close to the master tape. In addition, the CD layer is newly remastered with DENON genuine equipment from analog master tape this time, and you can enjoy sound quality different from the conventionally released board. This CD layer is positioned as an extra to enjoy more music. As a "plus alpha", it is a limited edition that can be enjoyed by those who have a conventional CD. In this first release, a total of three titles will be released. Schuricht and Johann Strauss seem to be in conflict, and in fact they are famous. In addition to the good sensibility of the original music that is born out of a refreshing interaction with the orchestra, the attractiveness of the composition of the small pieces creates an attractive recording. In particular, "The Story of the Vienna Woods" is a famous performance. What is there is more elegance and richness of emotion and dignity, lurking in the strictness of Shuricht rather than elegance. All 8 songs are gem. Schuricht is no exception in Johann Strauss, and the rhythm is not only ambiguous but also very strict. There is no exaggeration or graceful sound in the expression, but the content of the song is sincere. Therefore it is not an exaggeration to say that it is not light music at all, but rather aims for one-dimensional higher music. During the recording session, Schuricht asked the members of the orchestra, saying, "If there is anything that deviates from the spirit of Vienna, please return to the right path" and pull out the peace, and as a result the session It is an interesting anecdote that the members did not raise any objections once in a while (detailed in the booklet). Squarepusher - Gong Acid AllMusic Review by John Bush Though listeners may have expected an EP of B-sides hot on the heels of the last Squarepusher full-length, Tom Jenkinson appeared to have already moved on with this "mini-album." It has a similar feel (read: tin-can production) to Music Is Rotted One Note, but few of these tracks have the short-shrift sound of your average outtakes. The opener, "Iambic 5 Poetry," is much more inclined to melody and atmosphere, with cascading dub effects hitting off the beat and echoing low into the mix. The EP is definitely less obsessed with '70s fusion and more squarely experimental, akin to the quasi-single "My Sound" from Music Is Rotted One Note. Overall, Budakhan Mindphone breaks the bounds of fan-only singles and earns respect on its own worth. Download links: [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]

Artist: Igor Markevitch Title: Stravinsky: Rite of Spring, Tchaikovsky: Nutcracker Suite Year Of Release: 1959 [2016] Label: Tower Records [TDSA-22] Genre: Classical Quality: DSD64 image (*.iso) | FLAC (24bit/88,2 kHz) Total Time: 01:13:33 Total Size: 2,0 GB / 1,1 GB (+3%rec.) A stereo version of the old EMI recording that should be said to be a synonym of Marchevich `` Spring Festival '' The first two Tchaikovsky songs recorded at the same time as SACD. Since its first appearance, Markevich's old EMI (recorded in 1959) board, which is still very popular as a shocking "festival of spring", is the long-awaited first SACD. The bold interpretation and attention to detail are surprising to hear now. Coupling two Tchaikovsky songs with low recurrence frequency while recording at the same time. Two albums have been assembled into one. For this reprint, a new mastering was performed separately for the SACD layer and the CD layer using a 96kHz / 24bit digital master from the home country master. Speaking of Marchevich's "Spring Festival", it is not only one of the masterpieces of the song, but also one of Markevich's many recordings, which is famous for its outstanding performance. It was already talked about in the first recording with the same Philharmonia Orchestra in 1951, and this stereo version, which was re-recorded eight years later, has a shorter playing time and has become more talked about as a more condensed and elaborated recording. Was. The Spring Festival, which has a good sense of balance and good sense, but also calculates instantaneous power and emphasis, was an interpretation that no one had heard before. Of course, the effect is largely due to the stereo recording, and it can be said that it is one of the most successful recordings for the initial stereo recording of the old EMI label. At the time, the Philharmonia Orchestra had a high level of performance skills and did not degrade in terms of quality. By making SACD this time, it is an excellent recording that you can even check the atmosphere at the time. Upon recurrence, two Tchaikovsky songs were coupled. It seems that these two songs were recorded after the "Spring Festival" ended. The recording quality is almost the same, the distinctive and slow interpretation and attention to detail are alive and well. These two songs were infrequently reproduced in the CD era, so this coupling is important in that sense. In addition, these three songs will be all stereo sound sources of the Marchevich & Philharmonia Orchestra left on the former EMI label. ~Google Interpreter Tracks: 01-02. Artist: Istvan Kertesz Title: Brahms: 4 Symphonies & Haydn Variations Year Of Release: 1964, 1973 [2016] Label: Tower Records [PROC-1975~77] Genre: Classical Quality: DSD64 image (*.iso) | FLAC (24bit/88,2 kHz) Total Time: 03:06:15 Total Size: 5,0 GB / 2,98 GB (+3%rec.) The first ever eternal masterpiece of Celtes and the Vienna Philharmonic becomes SACD! Reproduction of the DECCA recording of analog recording at its best using the home country master. An immortal masterpiece, including the "Haydn Variations" with the Vienna Philharmonic, that could not be completed by Kertesz, will be released on the SACD hybrid. On April 16, 1973, Celtes died while swimming in Tel Aviv. The second re-recording did not come true either. The second recording in '64 was the sixth session on the DECCA label for Kertesz and the Vienna Philharmonic. It is a fulfilling performance that can not be thought of as co-starring with the conductor and the Vienna Philharmonic. Then, in '72, we started recording as a complete collection from No. 4, but about a year later he died at the age of 45. These recordings are the highest performances that have been heard for a long time as one of the representative boards of Celtes from the LP era. It was released from King relatively early in the CD era, and has since recurred several times from Universal. However, the frequency of remastering was low for some reason, and because of the early digitization, it was not always possible to say that it had been sold in a state close to the original sound. This time, when we launched this series, we picked up this Kertesz board in order to revive the masterpiece buried recently in terms of sound quality to the present age. As a result, with this SACD conversion, it is now possible to hear detailed nuances that were previously buried in CDs. DECCA's recording technology at that time was very effective for the latest modern reproduction technology, and has the potential to go deeper into the truth of the famous board. Please experience innovative sound quality. In the production of this series, we used sound sources digitized with higher quality than the original analog master tape in our home country, and our dedicated engineers in our country took a long time in mastering work for this series in a detailed process. Was. The important thing about the release is that the reprinting process itself, including the digitization and mastering steps, has evolved over the last few years. Equipment related to digital technology is constantly improving, and it has become possible to produce higher quality and more delicate sound sources. Now you can enjoy the original analog master with higher sound quality. In this SACD project, it became possible to release with a wonderful sound. ~Google Interpreter Tracks: Brahms, Johannes (1833-97) : Disc 1 Symphony No.1 In C Minor, Op. 68 01. 1. Squarepusher - Last Ap Roach AllMusic Review by Greg Prato The one-man drum'n'bass outfit Squarepusher (aka Tom Jenkinson) treads upon more unpredictable terrain on Music Is Rotted One Note. Although the album still contains elements of his usual drum'n'bass sound, this is by and large a jazz/fusion affair. Jenkinson does a masterful job playing all the instruments live and by himself, and perfectly re-creates the funky atmosphere of such early-'70s Miles Davis classics as Get Up With It and On the Corner. Jenkinson's performances throughout the disc are both flawless and inspired -- he obviously realized that if he were to pay tribute to Miles, nothing but the best would do. Davis' spirit lives on in such tracks as "Don't Go Plastic," "Dust Switch," "137 (Rinse)," and "Theme From Vertical Hold," while "My Sound" perfectly captures the essence of Miles' calming and reflective compositions. But don't be misled; this is not a by-the-numbers rip-off of Miles Davis. Jenkinson updates these familiar sounds with '90s recording techniques and injects enough of his own style into the mix to keep it recognizable. Miles would be proud. Martinonon's only co-star with VPO, the masterpiece `` pathetic '' and Shostakovich, famous for excellent recording, made the first SA-CD using the home country master! Martinon has the impression that there are many sources of Russian music like other French conductors, such as leaving the complete symphony of Prokofiev, but in other Russian works this `` pathetic '' and another accompaniment board, and Shostakovich's The fact is that we only left the album and there aren't many others. The only reason why Russian music is so special is that each album has a strong impact. "Pathetique" recorded in '57 is the only Vienna Philharmonic co-star with the DECCA label, which has had a strong influence since its release and has been heard as a masterpiece. There's Martinin's command as if he's immersed in the song rather than Russia, and the Vienna Philharmonic's performance, which can be said to be partly wild. This `` pathetic '' has more fans than at the time of release, and in a sense it is a conductor of Martinon who has a unique expression and enthusiasm enough to fuel the orchestra, so the evaluation that it is the only performance that is incomparable is still different today not. With the introduction of SA-CD, the dynamic range of the performance is expanded, and you can also listen to the attractive sounds of each instrument. Please listen to the famous performance that can be said that there is no "pathetic" alternative to this. Coupling Shostakovich is famous as an excellent recording while recording in '58. This is not only a hot, bloody performance, but you can also listen to Martinon's meticulous composition with a certain orchestral skill. With this high-quality digitization, we were able to reproduce more realistic sound images, sound fields, and the sound of each cored instrument. You can enjoy overwhelming sound quality.
