In the title piece, "Dragonfly", the unforeseen culminates in a sensitive duel between the Vietnamese-Parisian Huong Thangh and the Cameroon-New Yorker Richard Bona. It was necessary that such a mythical creature as the dragon, a symbol for good luck in Asia, lift itself up and over the chasm that separates the different styles, the disparate geographic and historic terrain, thus bridging the gap between musical cultures. And the same goes for the entire album: magic lies in this alchemy, which combines the distinctive purity and tradition of the Vietnamese instruments and vocals with the sudden presence of the electronics, the grooves, the string instruments, and the African vocals... 2. Artist: Cowboy Copas Title: Copasetic Year Of Release: 2001 Label: Westside WESF 115 Genre: Country Quality: FLAC (tracks+.cue, log, scans) Total Time: 69:01 Total Size: 342 MB Copasetic earns a lot of points for being the best-mastered Cowboy Copas CD yet, and for including the mammoth number one hit "Alabam," which did not appear on any of King/Starday's Copas reissues. Copas was an important artist who nearly single-handedly kept King Records afloat in its early years, but today he is most often remembered for having died in that fateful plane crash with Patsy Cline and Hawkshaw Hawkins. The mix of hits and rarities on Copasetic does a good job of demonstrating what Copas was all аbout: tight, Western swing-influenced hillbilly music with mellow vocals, like a deeper-voiced Floyd Tillman minus the honky tonk lyrics. Copas was often joined by premiere guitarists such as Roy Lanham and Merle Travis (his artistry is impressively heard on two takes of "Hangman's Boogie"), and Copas turns in some accomplished flat-top picking himself on "Tennessee Flat Guitar." Lengthy notes by Dave Sax add to the historical value of this set, as do the handful of truly rare sides. Copasetic emphasizes Copas' early years and misses fully half of his hits, so buyers can hope for a second volume to wrap up the story of this great but underappreciated country artist. 4. Artist: Ida Handel Title: Sibelius, Walton: Violin Concertos Year Of Release: 1975-77 [2016] Label: Tower Records [TDSA-31] Genre: Classical Quality: DSD64 image (*.iso) | FLAC (24bit/88,2 kHz) Total Time: 01:05:19 Total Size: 1,76 GB / 0,99 GB (+3%rec.) Definitive masterpiece of this song by Ida Handel, still highly acclaimed The name recording of the analog heyday of 1975 finally became SACD. Featured reprint together with Walton! Completed under the direction of Berglund, Ida Handel is the supreme Sibelius! One of her masterpieces, and the most right-wing performance among many stereo recordings of this song. The recording is also wonderful, and you can enjoy the sound quality of the old EMI label at the end of analog recording with SACD. For this reprint, a new mastering was performed separately for the SACD layer and the CD layer using a 96kHz / 24bit digital master from the home country master. It is a permanent storage board. Ida Handel is from Poland and is currently the oldest active female violinist living in Florida, USA. Since his debut in Britain as a genius girl is in 1937, his performance activities span 80 years. In Japan, the names of Beethoven and Brahms' violin concertos from the early days of LP records have been known for a long time on the famous board, but since they did not come to Japan for a long time, the subsequent release of the Japanese edition tended to be discontinued, so until the 1990s `` There was a time when it was called a "phantom female violinist." Sibelius's Violin Concerto with Berglund, now known as a masterpiece of the work, was recorded in such a period, in 1975. Although the Japanese version LP was released, it quickly became out of print without much reputation. However, as you know, in the CD era, its true value has been recognized mainly by listeners, and it has been re-released frequently. The skill of Ida Handel, learned from the renowned teacher Carl Fresh, is a combination of agility and stability, and phrasing is incredible. And I make the technique serve not only for the expression of one's own personality but for the music. Here, she sings the breath and lyrical nature of the Nordic nature in the work in a mellow tone, while making the listener fully proficient in the technical phrases written by Sibelius. In the first movement, you can listen to her sound penetrating from a magnificent orchestra and show off her beautiful sounds and feats. is. Her cool rhythm, sparkling colors, and various emotional expressions in the final movement are unique to her. On the other hand, Walton was recorded in 1977, but was not released in Japan for a long time, but was finally released on CD in 2012. She is known as a sweet and technical work dedicated to Heifetz, but she is not only clear of technical difficulties such as splendid jumping and heavy playing techniques, but also Walton in how to sing melody and draw sounds. The lyricism and emotions that seem to be exquisite are scrutinized and expressed, and you can listen to the famous performances that make you feel rich. ~Google Interpreter Tracks: Jean Sibelius (1861-1957) 1-3. Peace December holds the distinction of single-handedly putting Windham Hill on the map and being the new age album most likely to find its way into music collections of all ilk. In spite of being relentlessly overplayed during the holidays, the solo piano recording has aged quite well. Winston shapes holiday war-horses and original compositions into a captivating contemporary statement. His spare, understated style captures the feel of the dark season, employing ample resonance to evoke a reflective spaciousness. The album's straightforward simplicity conveys both the celebration and quietude that characterize the best of the Yuletide spirit. The mother of all solo instrumental albums, and with good reason. Mixing traditional carols with Pachelbel's Canon and a few originals, Winston produces a solo piano album of unparalleled -- and undeniable -- beauty. How can music be simultaneously stirring and soothing, relaxed yet exalted? Millions have found the answer here, and an industry has spent more than a decade trying to duplicate it. But no one struck quite the same nerve with the record buying public as pianist George Winston, whose invocational recitals AUTUMN, WINTER INTO SPRING, DECEMBER and SUMMER put the Windham hill label on the map and epitomized the new age approach for countless listeners. From the rhythmic cycles of ;Tamarack Pines; (Winston cites composer Steve Reich as a major influence), to the elegant ragtime airs of William Bolcolm on ;Graceful Ghost, ; FOREST shows George Winston to be more than a one-trick pony. The pianist also gathers up some charming, little-known movie themes and traditional pieces (such as the lovely ;Japanese Music Box; and ;Mon Enfant;), plus originals like ;Night Sky &; and ;Forbidden Forest, ; which are rendered with exceptional delicacy and attention to dynamics. The Twisting of the Hay Rope (Casadh An Tsúgáin) 16. Sweet Soul (Gobajie) 17. Sky (Goobajie) From the opening piano notes of Montana: A Love Story, George Winston fans are sure to feel they've returned to safer ground after his last album, The Night Divides the Day, the pianist's dip into the acid rock of The Doors. There's nothing on Montana that wouldn't feel at home to anyone who has followed him since his first two albums on Takoma and Windham Hill records. Winston has carved out a space for open-air melodies that seem to echo off the Montana plains that have provided so much of his metaphorical imagery over the years. It's an attractive sound which, at its best, recalls Keith Jarrett's more contemplative ruminations, and at its worst, sounds like cocktail music by someone without a good fake book. The pure Winston sound can be heard on his originals, including "High Plains Lullaby," as well as covers like Mark Isham's childlike "Thumbelina." But Winston also plays Celtic tunes, Sam Cooke's R&B hit, "You Send Me," and Leadbelly's "Goodnight Irene." And just to put you on edge, he does Frank Zappa's angular "The Little House I Used to Live In." He says it reminded him of the little house in which he grew up in Montana. When he explores these different styles, he becomes a more generic pianist, the kind you might hear at the local shopping mall. But on the reverie of "Sweet Soul" and the exoticism of "Sky," the distinct Winston sound is revealed as he continues to forge his brand of American Plains piano. ---John Diliberto A love letter to his home state, Montana is George Winston's most varied album since 1999's Plains and probably his most personal album, ever. His last album -- 2002's Night Divides the Day -- focused on his first musical inspiration, the Doors. Montana goes deeper into his heart, back to childhood memories of his family's house, lullabies, and first encounters with songs that would later hold great personal meaning. It's this kind of genuine wonder of it all that makes Montana so great. Winston is freer than usual on some of the tracks, playing like France's most precious dreamer, Erik Satie, must have; sometimes with great care and sometimes open-ended. On "Valse Frontenac," Winston stops on what seems like the second-to-last note, a cliffhanger move Satie might have pulled on you in anything-goes-Paris, 1900 or so. Like so many other moments on the album, it's fragile, but purposeful enough to not be maudlin. Surrounding these peculiar twists with popular nostalgia like "Goodnight Irene" and that song to which you first danced with a girl -- in Winston's case it's Sam Cooke's "You Send Me" -- are more common moments with no less sincerity, and it keeps Montana from being an album only Winston understands. His brief but informative liner notes also help the listener relate, but the varied repertoire might surprise -- or at worst, alienate -- those who only know his "one mood" albums. Moving away from the mood-based albums like December and Autumn lets the pianist get risky and play things by a diverse group of folk like the 19th century composer Rentaro Taki and Frank Zappa, whose "The Little House I Used to Live In" goes from cerebral to homey in Winston's caring, miniature interpretation. You see "Montana" on the cover and "Zappa" in the credits and you think you're going to sing, "Moving to Montana soon/Going to be a dental floss tycoon," but that's not Winston, too obvious. George always hints he knows, and then goes and plays it the way he wants to: not overly academic, heartfelt, and with nothing to prove. It's made his detractors declare his music "wallpaper," but they'll have a hard time doing that with Montana. Don't let it scare you. The little bits of dissonance are tempered with welcoming warmth and heart. Montana is filled with the goods and bads, the regrets and triumphs of home, and all the sentimentality and peculiarity of going back. The way Winston sorts it all out is fascinating and anything but wallpaper. --AllMusic Review by David Jeffries Download links: https://rapidgator.net/file/f2f9a3121e9e1fc7dea8018a984a2a89/losslessdl_080820George_Winston_-_Montana__A_Love_Story_2020_FLAC.rar.html https://nitroflare.com/view/C2559080910D482/losslessdl_080820George_Winston_-_Montana__A_Love_Story_2020_FLAC.rar

Linda Movement - Father's Children Prior to the involvement of the intrepid Numero Group, Red Black & Green Productions (or RBG Productions), operated by engineer and producer Robert Hosea Williams (aka R. Jose Williams, who worked on three Gil Scott-Heron & Brian Jackson albums), "had never been much more than a letterhead and three initials scrawled on a few dozen magnetic tape boxes." This package continues the work Numero did with Father's Children's Who's Gonna Save the World, an album of previously unreleased recordings that had been stored in Williams' garage. However, most of these fully developed and often excellent soul recordings from Washington, D.C. were issued throughout the early '70s on small labels like New Directions, DC International, and DMC. Four songs come from Your Funny Moods, a 1974 album cut by Skip Mahoaney & the Casuals. The batch is led by "I Need Your Love," a seven-minute ballad loaded with pained falsetto, group background harmony, and an impassioned monologue over twinkling electric piano. East Coast Connection's animated, breakneck "Summer in the Parks," featuring nimble Kool & the Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Soul Searchers swipes/tributes, could have been used in an ad for D.C.'s parks department. The ebullience in the tempo and brightness of Dyson's Faces' "We're Two Fools in Love" is belied by its tormented lyrics, which detail the conflict of being a poor man in love with a rich woman. The Exceptions and the Summits both deal sweet, stirring soul, while Promise - a group of young women - offer energetic, age-appropriate material. Finally, there are three previously unreleased songs from Father's Children: an instrumental version of "Linda Movement," the stirring "I Really Really Love You," and "Phoney People," the last of which is a nurturing/scolding number somewhere between the Honey Cone's "Sunday Morning People" and the O'Jays' "Shiftless, Shady, Jealous Kind of People." Anyone who owns the Father's Children set, as well anyone with an interest in impeccably documented obscure soul, should probably get this. In the same year, Andy Anka, the father of the legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Paul Anka, who helped them break into radio and television, became their manager. In 1969, they signed a contract with Art Snider, owner of the Toronto recording studio Sound Canada. As a result, this self-titled album appeared, all the songs on which were written by Lindsay Thomas Morgan. This is a fair assessment. The "Singing Brakeman" and the "Mississippi Blue Yodeler," whose six-year career was cut short by tuberculosis, became the first nationally known star of country music and the direct influence of many later performers, from Hank Snow, Ernest Tubb, and Hank Williams to Lefty Frizzell and Merle Haggard. Rodgers sang about rounders and gamblers, bounders and ramblers -- and he knew what he sang about. At age 14 he went to work as a railroad brakeman, and on the rails he stayed until a pulmonary hemorrhage sidetracked him to the medicine show circuit in 1925. The years with the trains harmed his health but helped his music. In an era when Rodgers' contemporaries were singing only mountain and mountain/folk music, he fused hillbilly country, gospel, jazz, blues, pop, cowboy, and folk; and many of his best songs were his compositions, including "TB Blues," "Waiting for a Train," "Travelin' Blues," "Train Whistle Blues," and his 13 blue yodels. Although Rodgers wasn't the first to yodel on records, his style was distinct from all the others. His yodel wasn't merely sugar-coating on the song, it was as important as the lyric, mournful and plaintive or happy and carefree, depending on a song's emotional content. His instrumental accompaniment consisted sometimes of his guitar only, while at other times a full jazz band (horns and all) backed him up. Country fans could have asked for no better hero/star -- someone who thought what they thought, felt what they felt, and sang about the common person honestly and beautifully. In his last recording session, Rodgers was so racked and ravaged by tuberculosis that a cot had to be set up in the studio, so he could rest before attempting that one song more. No wonder Rodgers is to this day loved by country music fans. The youngest son of a railroad man, Rodgers was born and raised in Meridian, MS. Following his mother's death in 1904, he and his older brother went to live with their mother's sister, where he first became interested in music. Rodgers' aunt was a former teacher who held degrees in music and English, and she exposed him to a number of different styles of music, including vaudeville, pop, and dancehall. Though he was attracted to music, he was a mischievous boy and often got into trouble. When he returned to his father's care in 1911, Rodgers ran wild, hanging out in pool halls and dives, yet he never got into any serious trouble. When he was 12, he experienced his first taste of fame when he sang "Steamboat Bill" at a local talent contest. Rodgers won the concert and, inspired by his success, decided to head out on the road in his own traveling tent show. His father immediately tracked him down and brought him back home, yet he ran away again, this time joining a medicine show. The romance of performing with the show wore off by the time his father hunted him down. Given the choice of school or the railroad, Rodgers chose to join his father on the tracks. For the next ten years, Rodgers worked on the railroad, performing a variety of jobs along the South and West Coasts. In May of 1917, he married Sandra Kelly after knowing her for only a handful of weeks; by the fall, they had separated, even though she was pregnant (their daughter died in 1938). Two years later they officially divorced, and around the same time, he met Carrie Williamson, a preacher's daughter. Rodgers married Carrie in April of 1920 while she was still in high school. Shortly after their marriage, Rodgers was laid off by the New Orleans & Northeastern Railroad, and he began performing various blue-collar jobs, looking for opportunities to sing. Over the next three years, the couple was plagued with problems, ranging from financial to health -- the second of their two daughters died of diphtheria six months after her birth in 1923. By that time, Rodgers had begun to regularly play in traveling shows, and he was on the road at the time of her death. Though these years were difficult, they were important in the development of Rodgers' musical style as he began to develop his distinctive blue yodel and worked on his guitar skills. In 1924, Rodgers was diagnosed with tuberculosis, but instead of heeding the doctor's warning about the seriousness of the disease, he discharged himself from the hospital to form a trio with fiddler Slim Rozell and his sister-in-law Elsie McWilliams. Rodgers continued to work on the railroad and perform blackface comedy with medicine shows while he sang. Two years after being diagnosed with TB, he moved his family out to Tucson, AZ, believing the change in location would improve his health. In Tucson, he continued to sing at local clubs and events. The railroad believed these extracurricular activities interfered with his work and fired him. Moving back to Meridian, Rodgers and Carrie lived with her parents before he moved away to Asheville, NC, in 1927. Rodgers was going to work on the railroad, but his health was so poor he couldn't handle the labor; he would never work the rails again. Instead, he began working as a janitor and a cab driver, singing on a local radio station and events as well. Soon, he moved to Johnson City, TN, where he began singing with the string band the Tenneva Ramblers. Prior to Rodgers, the group had existed as a trio, but he persuaded the members to become his backing band because he had a regular show in Asheville. The Ramblers relented, and the group's name took second billing to Rodgers, and the group began playing various concerts in addition to the radio show. Eventually, Rodgers heard that Ralph Peer, an RCA talent scout, was recording hillbilly and string bands in Bristol, TN. Rodgers convinced the band to travel to Bristol, but on the eve of the audition, they had a huge argument about the proper way they should be billed, resulting in the Tenneva Ramblers breaking away from Rodgers. He went to the audition as a solo artist, and Peer recorded two songs -- the old standards "The Soldier's Sweetheart" and "Sleep, Baby, Sleep" -- after rejecting Rodgers' signature song, "T for Texas." Released in October of 1927, the record was not a hit, but Victor did agree to record Rodgers again, this time as a solo artist. In November of 1927, he cut four songs, including "T for Texas." Retitled "Blue Yodel" upon its release, the song became a huge hit and one of only a handful of early country records to sell a million copies. Shortly after its release, Rodgers and Carrie moved to Washington, where he began appearing on a weekly local radio show billed as the Singing Brakeman. Though "Blue Yodel" was a success, its sales grew steadily throughout early 1928, which meant that the couple wasn't able to reap the financial benefits until the end of the year. By that time, Rodgers had recorded several more singles, including the hits "Way Out on the Mountain," "Blue Yodel No. 4," "Waiting for a Train," and "In the Jailhouse Now." On various sessions, Peer experimented with Rodgers' backing band, occasionally recording him with two other string instrumentalists and recording his solo as well. Over the next two years, Peer and Rodgers tried out a number of different backing bands, including a jazz group featuring Louis Armstrong, orchestras, and a Hawaiian combo. By 1929, Rodgers had become an official star, as his concerts became major attractions and his records consistently sold well. During 1929, he made a small film called The Singing Brakeman, recorded many songs, and toured throughout the country. Though his activity kept his star shining and the money rolling in, his health began to decline under all the stress. Nevertheless, he continued to plow forward, recording numerous songs and building a large home in Kerrville, TX, as well as working with Will Rogers on several fundraising tours for the Red Cross that were designed to help those suffering from the Depression. By the middle of 1931, the Depression was beginning to affect Rodgers as well, as his concert bookings decreased dramatically and his records stopped selling. Despite the financial hardships, Rodgers continued to record. Not only did the Great Depression cut into Rodgers' career, but so did his poor health. He had to decrease the number of concerts he performed in both 1931 and 1932, and by 1933, his health affected his recording and forced him to cancel plans for several films. Despite his condition, he refused to stop performing, telling his wife that "I want to die with my shoes on." By early 1933, the family was running short on money, and he had to perform anywhere he could -- including vaudeville shows and nickelodeons -- to make ends meet. For a while he performed on a radio show in San Antonio, but in February he collapsed and was sent to the hospital. Realizing that he was close to death, he convinced Peer to schedule a recording session in May. Rodgers used that session to provide needed financial support for his family. At that session, Rodgers was accompanied by a nurse and rested on a cot in between songs. Two days after the sessions were completed, he died of a lung hemorrhage on May 26, 1933. Following his death, his body was taken to Meridian by train, riding in a converted baggage car. Hundreds of country fans awaited the body's arrival in Meridian, and the train blew its whistle consistently throughout its journey. For several days after the body arrived in Rodgers' hometown, it lay in state as hundreds, if not thousands, of people paid tribute to the departed musician. The massive display of affection at Rodgers' funeral services indicated what a popular and beloved star he was during his time. His influence wasn't limited to the '30s, however. Throughout country music's history, echoes of Rodgers can be heard, from Hank Williams to Merle Haggard. In 1961, Rodgers became the first artist inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame; 25 years later, he was inducted as a founding father at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Though both honors are impressive, they only give a small indication of what Rodgers accomplished -- and how he affected the history of country music by making it a viable, commercially popular medium -- during his lifetime. ~ David Vinopal Download links: https://rapidgator.net/file/a06b1641eab421a0baa264ad29a418de/losslessdl_080820Jimmie_Rodgers_-_The_Complete_RCA_Victor_Recordings.part1.rar.html https://rapidgator.net/file/044aac3276e15afe2083dd0e143b165a/losslessdl_080820Jimmie_Rodgers_-_The_Complete_RCA_Victor_Recordings.part2.rar.html https://nitroflare.com/view/9B8F076D51D987E/losslessdl_080820Jimmie_Rodgers_-_The_Complete_RCA_Victor_Recordings.part1.rar https://nitroflare.com/view/800C867280A5021/losslessdl_080820Jimmie_Rodgers_-_The_Complete_RCA_Victor_Recordings.part2.rar

King when he was only eight years old and was a veteran of the road and gigging by the time he was 12, so it's tempting to toss him in the all flash but no soul prodigy trash bin that has been filling up pretty well since Stevie Ray Vaughan shuffled off to blues heaven but that would be a big mistake. Bonamassa has soul, plenty of it, and he plays guitar with a reverent grace, and sometimes lost in all this is that he's a pretty good singer, too, sounding more than a little bit like a reconstituted Paul Rodgers. His stunning headline show from the Royal Albert Hall, which featured guest spots by Eric Clapton and Paul Jones, was released in 2009 on DVD, and download versions of the songs have been available for a while, but this two-disc set marks the first official release of the concert as an album in and of itself, and it's simply wonderful, full of great guitar playing, solid singing, and with a horn section and double drummers on board, the sound is full and even majestic. Bonamassa is the real deal, and tracks here like the elegant opener "Django," "The Ballad of John Henry," the marvelous cover of Charley Patton's "High Water Everywhere," and a shifting, sprawling workout on Rod Stewart's "Blues Deluxe" show a musician at the top of his game, one who has learned that a guitar lead should serve the song and not the other way around. Bonamassa isn't some kid prodigy anymore he's grown up into one of the most soulful blues-rock performers on the planet. There's plenty of proof of that here. Certainly over these two discs containing a total of 30 tracks there are plenty of fine moments from some of Joe Cocker's earliest material, such as "The Letter," "With a Little Help From My Friends," "Delta Lady," "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window," etc. Also present are virtually all of his later hits and some that should have been: "Up Where We Belong," "You Are So Beautiful," "Many Rivers to Cross," "Leave Your Hat On," etc. But there's just too much that isn't here. Where are "Bird on a Wire" and "Hitchcock Railway," for starters? Nonetheless, given the length of Cocker's career, this is not an unusual complaint. One thing that is unique about this set other than the fine sound is the sequencing that crisscrosses over the breadth and chronology of Cocker's discography. There are also a couple of rarities, which would have been OK to leave off in order to include some of the more classic titles. But this is quibbling; Cocker fans will have a good time with this, but it's a safe bet they won't be selling off their original albums/CDs to replace them with this. How Great Thou Art (feat. Cayla Greer & Jared Greer) Yeah, the first great album of 2020 is a Texas country album. I'm just as shocked as you are. No, but seriously, 'Frontier' is a fantastic debut. Joey Greer recounts his trials and tribulations but in a way we can all relate to. He's been in the right and the wrong and matured along the path of the record through the experiences he had along the way. I don't entirely agree with the track sequencing, but even so, I can't argue that the way the tracks are ordered does do the album justice. The listener is encouraged to get to know Joey over the course of 41 minutes, and as a result, by the time you reach the emotional climax of the record with "Momma Prayed" and the subsequent sibling prayer, "How Great Thou Art" that closes the album, you really feel the weight on the shoulders of Joey and the rest of the Greer family. Joey, specifically, feels the need to take his music career to the next level in order to support the rest of his kin and to "Save the Farm." At the end of the day, he realizes he's "Good Enough," and all the childish problems he worried about earlier on the record (mainly chasing girls) turned him into the man he is today-a supportive, indebted family man. John Martyn - May You Never (Demo Version) Solid Air is one of the defining moments in British folk, in the same league as Fairport Convention's Liege & Lief, Richard & Linda Thompson's Shoot Out the Lights, and Michael Chapman's Rainmaker. Martyn stepped out of his comfort zone to record and produce it, including not only jazz and blues but rock and plenty of sound effects, and featuring Rhodes piano on some of its tracks, dismaying some fans while winning a ton more for its genre-blurring presentation. A number of its cuts such as the title track (written for Martyn's friend, Nick Drake), "Over the Hill," "I'd Rather Be the Devil," and "May You Never" remained staples in his live sets until the end of his life. 19. Artist: Karl Bohm Title: Mozart: Symphonies 29, 35, 38-41 Year Of Release: 1974-1980 [2017] Label: Tower Records [PROC-2022~24] Genre: Classical Quality: DSD64 image (*.iso) | FLAC (24bit/88,2 kHz) Total Time: 03:016:45 Total Size: 4,91 GB / 2,97 GB (+3%rec.) A masterpiece of Mozart's symphony collection with the VPO of the later years was newly mastered in the home country from the basic master and assembled into three pieces. All songs world's first SA-CD! Boehm assembled six Mozart late symphonies recorded with the Vienna Philharmonic in his last years, and two orchestral pieces into three pieces. The last year's Boehm left many recordings, mostly on the Vienna Philharmonic and DG labels, all of which have been popular with many fans, especially in Japan, as a loving performance. In addition to the styles up to the 60's, Boehm's music, which was softer and deeper inside, was recorded in its original atmosphere by DG at the peak of analog. The Mozart Symphony started in April 1976 with Nos. 40 and 41, recorded in March 1979 with Nos. 38 and 39, and recorded DG recordings at the end of June 1980 with Nos. 29 and 35. At the time, he was 85 years old (Digital recording of the ninth, the last recording with DG in November of this year, released in PROC1992). At the time of recording in June 1980, DG had already been dominated by digital recording, but this recording was recorded by conventional analog recording. For this reason, in this assembly, all the original home country analog master tapes were directly digitized at the latest 192kHz / 24bit for this reproduction, and masters were produced. In the SA-CD layer, you can hear the sound of the Vienna Philharmonic at that time, which reverberates in the reverberant Musikvereinsar. The attention to detail of the boom, the control of the sound and the rich musicality are unique to the boom of this time, and the amount of information and the suppleness of the horn and string instruments in particular will defeat the ears. Even at the CD layer, you can enjoy the core sound of each instrument and the sound of unity with a firm pyramid balance. The last art of Boehm is finally revealed by the world's first SA-CD. ~Google Interpreter Tracks: SACD 1 1-4. Symphony No. 29 in A major, K. 201/186a 5-8. 20. Artist: Andrew Manze, NDR Radiophilharmonie, Antje Weithaas Title: Schumann & Brahms: Concertos Year Of Release: 2020 Label: CPO Genre: Classical Quality: FLAC (tracks) Total Time: 63:21 Total Size: 276 MB Tracklist: 1. Violin Concerto in D Minor, WoO 23: I. In kräftigem, nicht zu schnellem Tempo (14:20) 2. Violin Concerto in D Minor, WoO 23: II. Langsam (6:26) 3. Violin Concerto in D Minor, WoO 23: III. Lebhaft, doch nicht schnell (10:07) 4. Concerto for Violin & Cello in A Minor, Op. 102 "Double Concerto": I. Allegro (16:41) 5. Concerto for Violin & Cello in A Minor, Op. 102 "Double Concerto": II. Andante (7:21) 6. Concerto for Violin & Cello in A Minor, Op. 102 "Double Concerto": III. Vivace non troppo (8:29) Antje Weithaas probes every detail in the musical text, charged with energy and with her compelling musical intelligence and unrivaled command of technique. Her charisma and stage presence are gripping but never force their way in front of the work. And we therefore are happy that this internationally top-ranking violinist is now interpreting the Violin Concerto by Robert Schumann and the Double Concerto by Johannes Brahms for cpo with Maximilian Hornung, a cellist who in every way is her equal. And they perform these works with the NDR Radio Philharmonic under the genial leadership of its principal conductor Andrew Manze, who has just renewed his contract with this orchestra through 2023. This recording brings together three great musicians and two composers who enjoyed the closest of relationships. Both works were written for the outstanding violinist Joseph Joachim, who played a central role for Schumann as well as for Brahms.
